Online Services FAQs
Is it safe to have your accounts online?
YES! ACMG currently uses encryption technology as well as a dual authentication process on our website. Encryption technology is a way of scrambling information so that a third party can't read anything being sent. Only the intended recipient has the ability to unscramble (decrypt) the information. This level of security is similar to the encryption technology used on government websites. In addition, dual authentication is a process which lets the member know that they are visiting ACMG's Online Banking website & it lets the credit union know that it is YOU who is actually logging in. You can be confident that ACMG's online services are as secure as possible.
What if I pay a bill and the merchant says they never received it?
We have a payment inquiry team that specifically deals with an issue such as this.Their job is to find out what happened to the payment, correct the problem, and get the payment to the merchant as soon as possible. Provided the payment was scheduled within the correct guidelines, ACMG will be responsible for any late fees. You will not be held accountable or responsible for anything if the problem was on our end.
Why should I use ACMG Bill Pay when I already use the merchant's website?
Using ACMG's Bill Pay lets you take control of your own finances. Rather than giving your account number to multiple merchants and allowing them to go in and debit your account, you send the payment out at your convenience. You control when the money leaves your account. It's also another way to keep your sensitive information secure - you won't have to enter your account number on several different websites just to pay your bills. Do it all with one user ID and password on our secure site.
