Federal Parent PLUS Loans
Federal PLUS loans enable parents to borrow for each dependent student who is enrolled in an accredited college or university at least half-time. Parents may finance up to the full cost of their child's education each academic year, less grants and other financial aid the child receives.
Parents do not have to prove financial need, however, usual credit application regulations are in effect and repayment on these loans usually begins within 60 days after disbursement.
