How it works:

  1. Sign up: Only parents/guardians can enroll a teenager into the program. There is no credit check required & the teen does not need a CU account. Due to Patriot ACT regulations, parents will be required to provide specific identifying information to enroll their teen.
  2. Verify CU Account: The first load will be divided into 2 random transactions & debited from the parent’s checking account. Parents will be asked to view their ACMG account online or contact the CU to determine the 2 random amounts. Once this step is completed, the account is verified & parents can proceed loading or order additional cards.
  3. Activate Card: Card arrives in 10 days & needs to be activated (by teen or parent) by visiting the CU Succeed website or calling an automated system at 1-800-881-1969.
  4. Earn Smart – Spend Smart: Parents can use the CU Succeed website to check balance, track spending, load card, set up custom alerts & teach teen to manage their money.
