Student Loan Alert!
Students who have been denied an education loan from another lender can call Jeanine, Dottie, or Vicki immediately at 315-488-4433 (or contact us by email) to learn what options ACMG has for you!
We have funds set aside to help students whose current lenders have stopped making student loans or are no longer in business.

Student Loan Update: Our Board of Direcetors has voted to waive the 1% origination fee to members using our Stafford Loan Program, effective September 1, 2008! Benefits, convenience, and superior member service are why students  keep coming to ACMG to fund their secondary education!

Your Credit Union Accounts are Safe and Insured
Credit unions remain a safe harbor for your savings and other accounts, despite economic woes including the recent IndyMac bank failure. The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) insures savings up to at least $100,000, with higher total insurance coverage available if you have a combination of individual, joint, trust, payable-on-death or other types of accounts. In addition, there is separate insurance coverage of up to $250,000 for IRA accounts. To determine your insurance coverage, see the NCUA’s (National Credit Union Administration) insurance estimator at www.ncua.gov or stop in or call any ACMG office to receive a brochure entitled "Your Federal Share Insurance".

There’s no better time to be a credit union member! Credit unions are nationally recognized for having steered clear of the sub-prime mortgage mess by lending responsibly and holding more of our mortgage loans - roughly 70% - in our own portfolios instead of selling them on the secondary market to beleaguered Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. As member owned and not-for-profit cooperatives we exist to serve our members, not profit from them! In fact, credit unions across the nation are helping individuals affected by other’s irresponsible behavior to try to restructure and move forward. At ACMG, we have budgeted four million dollars for mortgage loans to our members and another three million five hundred thousand for home equity loans. We welcome any questions that you might have. Please feel free to contact us at (315) 488-4433.

Please use Audio 24 Phone Banking, your ACMG ATM or Debit Card, and Online Banking anytime the credit union is closed. In an emergency closing situation during our normal business hours, details can be found on WSTM Channel 3, WTVH
