Fraud ALERT!
PHONE SCAM ALERT: Recently members of Auburn Community FCU and other non-members received phone calls asking them to provide information in order to activate their Visa Cards. We have been informed that they are now targeting the Syracuse area also. THIS IS A PHONE SCAM. DO NOT GIVE AWAY ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION SUCH AS YOUR CARD NUMBER, PIN, CVV NUMBER, OR CARD EXPIRATION DATE! THESE PHONE CALLS MAY EVEN OCCUR OVER THE WEEKEND WHEN MOST FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS ARE CLOSED. Local Credit Unions are NOT initiating these calls. We are continuing to work with local law enforcement regarding these calls.
